Cheshire Academy hosts special Community Weekends that transcend the traditional academic experience and contribute to the development of a stronger, more inclusive school environment. Required for both faculty and students, these enriching events bolster the core values that define us: a sense of belonging, active engagement, collaborative spirit, and personal and collective growth.
Our opening Community Weekend is mandatory for all students and faculty, and is considered “closed” weekends in order to foster a sense of connection, collaboration, and collective growth.

Community Weekends offer unique opportunities for connection and shared experience. Activities usually take place on both Friday and Saturday of each Community Weekend. Both day and boarding students are encouraged to participate in as many of the weekend’s events as possible.
