CALENDARS & SCHEDULES

Plan ahead for your arrival and vacations using the 2022-2023 school calendar.

View and save the daily academic schedule for 2022-2023.

OPENING DAYS

Use the new Opening of School 2022 Guide to find detailed information about your expected arrival window, transportation and lodging information for students and families traveling to campus, and how you will spend your first days of the new school year.

Take special note of the schedule for Monday, Sept. 5, which invites all parents and families to join us on campus for the Opening Day Celebration and Convocation Ceremony.

If you are a new student interested in joining one of our preseason fall sports at the varsity level and would like to be put in touch with the head coach, please contact Jim McCarthy, director of athletics.

If you are an incoming 12th grade or postgraduate student interested in the College Counseling Bootcamp and/or SAT Prep Class in August 2022, you can get more information and register here.

MAGNUS HEALTH REGISTRATION

The health registration process for 2022-2023 for new and returning students is completed through the Magnus Health online service and is due by July 15.

For returning families, access to Magnus Health is currently active and reminder notifications are being sent via email.

For new families: Access to the Magnus Health system will be activated on or around May 1. Watch your email for important information from the Cheshire Academy health team around that date. Feel free to reach out to Debra Bond, director of the Richmond Health Center, if you have any questions.

COURSE REGISTRATION

Returning students have completed their course selection for 2022-2023 with the Academic and College Counseling offices. Requested courses can be viewed on the My Cheshire portal.

New students, along with their parents and guardians, are emailed initial recommendations for course placement once enrolled. This begins a dialogue which results in a student’s final course selection after all required courses and elective options are discussed.

In the meantime, please review the graduation requirements and course descriptions in our 2022-2023 Curriculum Guide and make note of any questions that you might have. This will be helpful once an academic dean reaches out to you with recommendations.

TEXTBOOKS & SUMMER READING

Summer reading and required textbook information will be made available on the My Cheshire portal. Families are responsible for purchasing textbooks independently and may purchase them from any supplier.

MY CHESHIRE PORTAL
