The Cheshire Academy boys’ lacrosse program has a strong tradition in the Western New England Prep School Athletic Conference. Cheshire Academy focuses on preparing student-athletes for success at the next level on and off the field. The program places players in college programs on a yearly basis. In addition, the team features student-athletes who play for prominent club programs, as well as working on the development of less experienced players.
The Cats play a competitive schedule that includes a preseason trip in March to Orlando, Florida, to gear up for the season and enjoy some team bonding. Homes games are played on Simosa Field.
Stewart Lindsay, a member of the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame, started the lacrosse program at Cheshire Academy back in 1962.
