Seven Cheshire Academy Student-Athletes Commit to Collegiate Athletics
Student-athletes sign on to play softball, baseball, and football – bringing CA to 26 college sports commitments in the senior class.
On Wednesday, Feb. 7, seven Cheshire Academy students signed letters of intent to play collegiate-level athletics from Division I-III around the country.
The student-athletes come from Connecticut, California, the Bahamas, and Germany.

Earlier this academic year, a signing day took place in November, where 15 student-athletes committed to countless athletics programs for the fall of 2024.

This year’s commitments are reflective of a consistent trend at Cheshire Academy, as student-athletes commit annually to top colleges and universities. With growing programs — softball and baseball competing in the spring 2023 NEPSAC playoffs, and football winning the Drew Gamere Bowl championship — many of CA’s programs are growing in talent and demand. In the 2022-2023 academic year, nearly 40% of student-athletes committed to playing at the collegiate level.
