All parents and families of Cheshire Academy students are part of The Cheshire Academy Parents & Families Association (CAPFA). Led by the parent-led CAPFA Executive Board, the group’s goal is to foster an inviting community for Cheshire Academy parents and families to support the mission of the school. This is done through monthly meetings, community programming, volunteer opportunities, and The CAPFA Fund.

Open Call (Last of the Year!)
Join the Cheshire Academy Parent & Families Association (CAPFA) for our final Open Call meeting of the school year. This informal conversation is an opportunity for parents to connect, ask questions, and learn what’s ahead for the Cheshire Academy community.
This month’s meeting will focus on what’s next for the 2026–2027 school year and how families and students can begin preparing for the transition to the next grade level over the summer. Whether your student is moving into a new academic year, thinking ahead to college preparation, or simply wrapping up a successful year at CA, we welcome your questions and conversation.
Special guests Marc Aronson, Dean of Faculty & Academic Life, and Madeleine Bergstrom, Director of College Counseling, will join CAPFA leadership to share insights and answer questions.

On the Road: Hartford – Banana Ball Night at Dunkin’ Park!
Get ready for an unforgettable summer night of energy, entertainment, and over-the-top baseball fun as Cheshire Academy hits the road for Banana Ball in Hartford! Alumni, families, and friends are invited to join us at Dunkin’ Park for a one-of-a-kind experience that goes far beyond the traditional game.
While it may not be the Savannah Bananas this time, don’t be fooled—Banana Ball is a full-on spectacle no matter who’s on the field. Expect nonstop action, fan interaction, music, dancing, and plenty of surprises as the Party Animals take on one of the league’s newest and most entertaining teams, the Indianapolis Clowns. If you’ve never experienced Banana Ball before, this is your chance—and if you have, you already know how electric it is.
Your ticket includes reserved seating in the Liberty Bank Picnic Pavilion along with a 2.5-hour buffet, so you can relax, connect with the CA community, and enjoy the show in style.
Tickets are limited (maximum of 4 per person), so be sure to reserve your spot early—this is a summer highlight you won’t want to miss!
