Admissions professionals answer questions, CA students formulate future plans
Cheshire students from all grades – with a special focus on the 10th and 11th graders considering where to apply – had an opportunity to engage with 137 college representatives at the 22nd annual College Fair on Wednesday, April 16. The gymnasium at Arthur Sheriff Field House was bustling with excited students eager to envision their futures on campuses in the U.S., Canada, China, and other international locales.
More than 200 students and some parents and family browsed through the aisles, stopping to add their names to mailing lists and discuss academic programs, athletics, arts, and more at each college. The spring fair is one of the many ways CA’s College Counseling professionals intentionally provides opportunities and guidance for our students from their first year through acceptances, Commencement, and beyond, said Director of College Counseling Madeleine Bergstrom.
“Once again, the college admission representatives complimented our students on the depth of their questions and preparation,” she said. “The enthusiasm in the room was palpable. Our students are the best!”
