Online courses to provide academic edge and enrichment during two summer sessions
Cheshire, Conn.––We are thrilled to announce Summer at Cheshire Academy, a program providing online education exclusively for Cheshire Academy students and families. Students can take six-week credited courses and/or three-week enrichment courses.
Taught virtually over Zoom, Summer at Cheshire Academy provides the perfect opportunity for students to:
- Explore new subject areas
- Reinforce concepts learned over the year
- Keep skills sharp during vacation months
- Advance before school starts again in the fall
Registration is open now and families must indicate interest in course selections by Wednesday, April 30. Courses will be offered based on demand, so students are encouraged to provide their course picks early as placements fill up quickly. The final registration deadline is Sunday, June 27.
Some of the six-week, credited courses include Intermediate/Proficient ELL, Modern Art History, Integrated Math, and Microeconomics. Enrichment courses include Academic Prep Seminar, Wilderness Survival, Leadership Development, Podcasting, Financial Literacy, and Create a Graphic Novel, among many others.
