Academic Technology Coordinator Discusses AI in the Educational Landscape with Authority Magazine

George Aiello, Cheshire Academy’s academic technology coordinator and librarian, recently shared his insights on technological innovations in education with Authority Magazine, a publication of Medium, where more than 100 million thought leaders connect and share their wisdom. The Q&A touches on Aiello’s experiences in global education – he has taught in Singapore, Paraguay, and Hong Kong – and how CA approaches AI and other technological advances with a well-considered blend of excitement and responsibility.

“Trained teachers can help students to understand how AI works and its best applications, but also highlight its potential for bias or error,” he told reporter Eden Gold. “Through this process, students can actually become better critical thinkers, problem solvers, develop better information literacy skills and become more responsible users of technology. All of these, foundations for almost any future career.”
