Shane Spencer
Shane Spencer is a three-time World Series Champion with the New York Yankees — part of the dynasty teams of 1998, 1999, and 2000 — who played seven years in the Major Leagues with the Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Texas Rangers, and New York Mets, and spent a season playing professionally in Japan. After his playing career, Shane committed himself fully to coaching and player development, serving as a hitting coach for the San Diego Padres’ Single-A affiliate, coaching with the Somerset Patriots of the independent Atlantic League, working as a hitting coordinator at Hamden Yards, and most recently coaching professionally in South Korea. Shane brings elite hitting expertise and a player-centered philosophy built on understanding and developing each athlete as an individual. He is one of the most respected hitting coaches in the region.
