Jarrett Krosoczka to Visit Cheshire Academy
October 9, 2019
Jarrett Krosoczka, New York Times best-selling author and illustrator, will address students, faculty, and staff at Cheshire Academy on Oct. 24.
Krosoczka’s presentation and discussion will focus on his journey towards becoming a published author. He will discuss his recent book, “Hey, Kiddo,” released October 2018. “Hey, Kiddo” is a graphic memoir that reflects on his challenging childhood.
Krosoczka will also speak about the intersection of art and writing, and ways in which creative expression has the capacity to help individuals overcome personal challenges.
There will be a book-signing following his presentation. In the afternoon, he will have lunch with students in the Blue Room before visiting two classes.
Although the event is not open to the public, Cheshire Academy alumni and parents interested in attending can contact Wendy Swift by emailing wendy.swift@cheshireacademy.org or by calling 203-439-7325.
