Faculty and staff art show revealed in Kohn-Joseloff Gallery
February 17, 2021
For the months of February and March, the Kohn-Joseloff Gallery is home to a variety of faculty and staff-created pieces of artwork, including quilts, ornaments, and self-portraits.

Founded in 1998, the Cheshire Academy Kohn-Joseloff Gallery features exhibits from current students and alumni, as well as celebrated artists from New Haven county and beyond. In a typical year, artists are invited to display and talk about their work in front of students and other members of the CA community.
While visits to campus are limited due to the pandemic, Fine and Performing Arts chair Fran Poisson put the call out to faculty and staff who have created works of art both this year and in 2020 and wanted to put them on display for the CA community to enjoy. The artwork submitted demonstrates faculty and staff who are talented with different art mediums such as photography and drawing, as well as crafting and handiwork.
Included in the show are Poisson, as well as Antonio Alfaiate, Karleen Kubat, Cara Jordan, Laura Longacre, Thomas Mauther, Gail Mauthe, Sally Pollard, and Karen Smith.
You can enjoy all of the artwork on display with a virtual visit to our online gallery here.
