JV Girls’ Tennis

Cheshire Academy has seen consistent success on the court, reaching the league playoffs in four of the last six seasons and finishing last spring with its best record, 7-1, during the open era.

The Cats play in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Class B Division against schools such as Canterbury, Kingswood-Oxford and Suffield Academy. Home matches are played at the David Markin ’48 Tennis Courts, which features the Harry G. Carpenter ’46 Pavilion.

The Cats are coached by Ed Banach, who played at St. Anselm and has been ranked in the Top 10 in the New England Men’s Open division. The program also fields a junior varsity team.
