Coed Varsity Golf
At Cheshire Academy, golfers focus on developing their individual game throughout the season. Players recognize that golf is a lifetime sport, and identify at the start of the season particular goals they wish to achieve, whether it be simply lowering their score, improving their long game, or working to finesse their short game on and around the green.
Practice rounds and time on the driving range allow for important time with peer-to-peer instruction, recognizing the ongoing development of one’s game. Cheshire Academy plays its home matches at The Farms Country Club in Wallingford, Connecticut, a 6,810-yard course. The Cats play a varsity schedule against other independent schools and travels to some of the best courses around the state, including Wintonbury Hills, Connecticut National and Bulls Bridge Golf Club.
