Alexis Holmes ’18 placed fourth in the women’s 400m at the NCAA Track and Field Indoor Championships. She finished with a time of 52.37, the top time among freshmen.

Holmes was the only freshman to reach the final and earned All-American honors. She entered the race following a first-place finish in the event at the Big 10 Championship with a school-record time of 52.14.
